no im pretty sure that the only 2 quests that gives you a pet are your lvl 48 spell quest and penny dreadful quest{s}

guys on the krokotopia message boards to bosses drop pets. I have been to dragonspyre once and the stuff bosses drop sells for like 10,000 gold!

There are pets that you could win in dragonspyre though.

There are 3 quests that give pets, you forgot the pet pavilion's Stray Piggle pet.
