Marking spot cost HEALTH andMANA?

when i marked a spot to return to i noticed it cost me 300 in health and some mana is it right to make marking a spot cost you health? I can undrstand Mana but what has health got to do with this?

i cost you 1/4 of your MANA, not health, you prob were in a fight and didnt heal and forgot
