Try doing some level grinding in Grizzleheim. Seriously. When I notice I'm having a lot of trouble with an area, I'll go do some quests in Grizzleheim to level up once or twice. Then I go back to the other area, and it's not nearly as hard.
Marleybone is my favorite world so far, partly cos it has Sherlock Bones(*coffSherlockHolmescoff*) in it.
Wizard City: 1 day Krokotopia: 2 weeks Marleybone: 3 months Mooshu: 1 week 4 days DragonSpyre: 1 month 22 days What up with that
I think its because of: THE INCREDIBLE LAG the long dungeons being in battles every 10 seconds(lol) The people who join your fight and just flee or pass the whole time etc
Wizard City: 1 day Krokotopia: 2 weeks Marleybone: 3 months Mooshu: 1 week 4 days DragonSpyre: 1 month 22 days What up with that
It depends on:
What school you are How much you can solo If you have help If you do sidequests How long you play How much life you have How long you wait How good you can heal And what gear you have.
My second character finished Marleybone in about less than a week because:
She had an amazing fire spell Soloed alot Lots of help from an awesome friend Ignored sidequests Played hours a day Had resonable life Played everyday till bed (and of course school) And had up to saytr Good gear.
But my first:
Didnt have great spells soloed little Had little help Not much life Did tons of sidequests Played not a whole lot And had little healing Bad gear.

She finished in about 3 months just the same.

i think it's because THE IRONWORKS quest. it is SO long to complete but it's a dungeon. I COMPLETELY HATE it
I think its because of: THE INCREDIBLE LAG the long dungeons being in battles every 10 seconds(lol) The people who join your fight and just flee or pass the whole time etc
So those are my reasons
I hate when that happens! When people are also dragged into a duel and then flee! Then it leaves me to fight three all by myself when the other person could have at least stayed and helped. This, I think, is why it takes FOREVER to pass MB.
They don't have sidwalks!!!!!!!! I get pulled off the side- places and have 0 mana!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like MB a teeny little bit(OK, maybe 2%). Blah Blah Meh! I just am SO FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
boring hard barely any quests not exciting less thrilling longest world!
Good things about MB - - - plz give tips!! :? :? :?
can't wait for Mooshu! oh and moderaters make it easier!!! :x
No quests?! Are you kidding?! This world has the most quests, I think. Personally, Marleybone is my favorite world, it has an interesting plot line, the quests give a lot of experience, and the theme is cool.
I think the biggest thing that makes MB hard is that people want to get to MS. If you plan out your character, ( Spells, equipment, pet, etc.) then MB can be alot of fun. I've also found that doing the side quests will help you level up quicker for the tougher bosses later on. They may be a bit boring, or even a bit tedious, but they do help alot.
Another little trick I use is to keep a few hundred crowns handy and quickly hire a henchman when some dweeb drags a third monster in and then flees.

I've almost finished Marleybone and i've only been on it for about 1 week. Maybe you didn't play much during Marleybone. Or you didn't have good gear at the time.

If you think the ironworks is too hard then maybe you're not dedicated enough. I've spent three hours each time through the ironworks (3) and when I finished it one time and for some reason it didn't count I kept going through and i still do.

P.S. yes i am obsessed with Wizard 101
I think that once you get to know Wizard 101, you're always obsessed! I do The Ironworks a lot, too, and I have know idea why.

Why would you do level grinding in Grizzleheim? They give about 400 XP per quest, even if it's a boss fight.
I love Marleybone! It is my favorite world so far. I am not in a hurry to pass it. Why should I rush into the next world without getting everything from this one?
Maybe a lot depends on how prepared you are. I got to Marleybone a couple of days ago, and I was level 29. I was strong enough to complete the first quests. I am now doing quests in Chelsea Court, and enjoying it more than anything else I've done in Wizard 101.
Monsters pulling me from the sidewalk don't bother me so much. I just walk behind their backs. And if I get caught, well, it is good practice :) People who join the fight without asking DO bother me, but we can't do anything about that. By the way, going anywhere without Mana is a BAD idea. You can get pulled into a fight, or a friend may be in need of help.
