Earlier this year Russell Hughes, a member of the KingsIsle team, traveled to Kenya with CTC International. CTC International is a non-profit organization working alongside Kenyan communities to provide resources that create sustainable change. While in Africa, Russ shot all the footage for this video and recorded sounds from a wide variety of magnificent animals.
Here is the coolest part: many of the sounds that Russ recorded are actually used as sound effects in the exotic new world of Zafaria. Next time you are wandering through the Spiral and hear a mighty roar or fierce growl – there is a good chance that those are sounds from real animals that were recorded by Russ in Africa. With regard to the Penguins – we sincerely hope Todd and Josef are kidding.
