Nostalgia by Tasha AshLeaf

Hours upon hours emerged in a world of magic. What more could an eight year old want? Do I dare admit my frequent flyer status of the Spiral at age eighteen? Nostalgia is my most craved feeling. I find it in music, in memories, in moments. The vivid moment in a child from my generation's life includes a small allocated time on weekends to use the family laptop. Where every minute had to be used wisely. Spoiled for choice, sacrifices had to be made. Penguins, monsters, or wizards? Oh how life for the young has changed over ten years. Nostalgia.

How did you meet? A question quite difficult to explain. Questing buddies from around the Spiral turned into best friends from around the world. Friends who I still talk to today, even though i'm the only wizard left. So much kindness shown with one shared goal connecting us all.

Friendship.

Pain
Pride
Proud.
The great and allmighty Ra!
Will I ever move on from this never-ending battle?
The sting of the impossible sweetened the patient victory.

Patience.

Daydreaming of attending Pigswick Academy. Walking through Wysteria to the grand lecture rooms. Living in the student dorms. Studying in the library. Eating lunch on the warm cobblestones.
Pretty wonderful life.
Pretty wonderful.
Pretty.

Imagination.

Evolving generations naturally create trends and phases. To this day I still check if there are any house games on, but I suppose that's a nostalgic moment I can't get back. A way to make friends, think of different strategies, and discover houses of all sorts doesn’t seem to thrive the audience as it once did.

Nostalgia.
