| From Skull Island to Valencia
and all lands that lay in between
we go to battle; we slay them all
despite the size differences, we won’t fall.
From being saved by Boochbeard to meeting our first mates
from being bossed around by Captain Avery and our teachers as our first dates
or watching in hysterics as Ratbeard and Catbeard squabble
from giving the Cat Man his herring fish in Port Regal
or frying the brains of Clockwork’s, their attempts to break our bonds are futile.
I especially like the ones with the swords the best
Their desire for enemy downfall fills me with a certain zest
It allows me to power through the fights with the enemies
The sounds of our blades fill my ears with the most sweetest symphony.
I know one thing for certain;
and it’s not the fact that I’ll have to have a showdown with Kane
but it’s the fact that I need my companions, even the tame
for without them, I would not have survived
and since that risks the Spiral’s fall
if I had rejected them- well, that wouldn’t have been smart at all.
