Hallowe'en is Here Again!

It's our favorite time of year in the Spiral; Hallowe'en! All your favorite Hallowe'en friends are back with their ghostly items to get your Wizard into the Halloween Spirit. We've also got brand new spooktacular Hallowe'en pets to accompany your Wizard during Halloweenfest.

There are lots of Hallowe'en decorations, bubbling cauldrons, apple tubs, pumpkins and ghosts and surprises all over Wizard City. But beware, a boss is waiting to test your skills!

There will be contests in the Spiral, both on our official contests page as well as our fansite Wizard101 Central, so watch for news of those throughout the month of October.

Welcome to October's Book of the Month Club! I'm Harold Argleston, your Wizard City Librarian and I would like to encourage you to read!

This month our book continues the theme of horses with Wild Girl by Patricia Riley Giff. This is a great book for people who like horses, but it’s not just a horse book. It’s also the story of Lidie, who moves from Brazil to the United States to live with her father and brother, who haven’t seen her since she was seven years old.

If you’ve ever struggled to fit in at a new school, or if you’ve ever had a hard time making your family understand that you’re not a little kid any more, you’ll understand how Lidie feels. And you’ll be happy when she meets the horse called Wild Girl and they help each other learn to feel at home.

Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!
