Welcome to the November 2010 Ravenwood Bulletin Newsletter!

For those of you that haven't met me yet, I'm Harvest Hannah, and I'll be visiting the Spiral later this month. As usual, I'll be bringing a small assortment of Harvest Festival related items for you to purchase, and you can find these items on creatures throughout the Spiral.

As you know, Celestia was the big news last month, and perhaps some of the other smaller updates got drowned out by the cheering and reverie, so this newsletter will cover some of those other announcements, as well as some upcoming news.

  This is the November 2010 installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

Here there be dragons! This month we venture in to books familiar to our world of Dragonspyre.

Dealing With Dragons by Patricia Wrede – This short chapter book is the start of a long series called the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. Real adventure meets fractured fairy tales in the story of Princess Cimorene, who is so bored by having to be a proper princess that she leaves home on purpose to be captured by a dragon.

The story itself has lots of humorous moments, but readers who catch the references to classic fairy tales will think the series is even funnier.

Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!

  Valor Reward
