Exciting news for European Wizard101 players was recently announced! Have a look at what Gameforge and KingsIsle revealed on February 15:
Dear Wizards,
We are pleased to announce that the European Wizard101 service will be moving to KingsIsle and gamigo. The transition will take place over the course of several months starting in the second quarter of 2022. Rest assured your adventures in the Spiral will be able to continue through the transition. Our team at KingsIsle is very thankful and excited to have the opportunity to serve our European Wizard101 players starting later this year!
It’s our goal to make this transition as seamless as possible. Please be assured that your game progress and Crowns balance will be maintained after the switch. No changes are being made at this time with game services and events carrying on as normal. Players should continue to contact Gameforge Support for their normal account needs until otherwise specified.
We will keep the community updated as we go through key steps in the transition process. Keep watch on this announcement and our social media channels in the coming months for further updates.
We are eager to welcome all European players to our KingsIsle community and can’t wait for you to experience new game updates with us!
See you in the Spiral,
Leah “Professor Falmea” Ruben
Game Director, KingsIsle

KI LIVE: NEW FRIENDS OF THE SPIRAL
Now that we're well into exploring what exciting new things we have in store for Wizards in 2022, activity is heating up across the Spiral in anticipation of the rest of this year! It's a friendly festive time, so we invited new KingsIsle team members on last month's KI Live to talk about their work.
We also had Mike Sears back to voiceover some of the Lemuria characters he did. Let us know if you want him on the show regularly, as he has even more voices to present!
Missed the show? No worries! You can watch the recording on YouTube:
It's always a blast hanging out with the community, so let us know what you most like about KI Lives so we can continue to make them even more fun to watch.
Secret Reader Bonus - The giveaway code was also changed up a bit with an exclusive Pirate101 code provided this time. As of this newsletter's announcement, for those who didn't get a chance to redeem the KI Live giveaway code yet, we opened it up again (KILIVESUPERBOOTS) for another 500 redemptions!
A great gameplay tip submitted to KI Live comes from AmberTime:
"I have a great gardening tip! Did you know that both regular and enchanted seeds can be planted in enchanted soil, but only enchanted seeds can be planted in enchanted. Now I only put down enchanted plots so I can plant anything!" - AmberTime

SPELLEMENTS ROUNDTABLE AND DEV DIARY
We've wanted to talk more about Spellements for a while now, and so have you! We got with community member Ferric who hosted a great Spellements Combat Roundtable Livestream with our team. We talked a ton about current Spellement development and revealed quite a bit of what we hope to tweak and add in the coming months!
If you ever wanted more insight into how decisions are made on event changes and how we incorporate player feedback, be sure to check out this livestream now on YouTube for a great discussion:

And so much more!
NEW CONCEPT ART FROM ADAM ROUSH
Sometimes Adam will create a series of concept art for a particular scene or character. Here’s a few concepts of the Old One as depicted with the character in Lemuria:
“For the Myth spell, the Old One becomes Mandar the Barbarian.” - Adam Roush
“For the Ice Spell, the Old One goes mad... for SCIENCE!” - Adam Roush
“The Old One was featured in a set of spells. This one was for the Balance school.” - Adam Roush
WHEN GRACE MET ALEX
By: Character Story by GMA Foley at Adventures of the Spiral
“Grace Stormsong went to register after helping Private Connelly in the Unicorn Way. As she was standing in line to talk to Mr. Lincoln, she bumped into the young wizard named Alex Thundersmith. He said, “Hey … oh you are new here too?” She shook her head, being shy, and asked, “What school did you join?”
“The storm school,” he answered. Grace thought, “They were in the same school, so maybe they could go through the introduction to the teachers at the same time!”
Gladrocker presented on his YouTube channel an excellent Beastmoon Mayhem getting started guide. Even if you are an experienced Beastmoon player, this guide is worth reviewing for tips and tricks about succeeding in this incredibly fun and competitive event.

DRAGONSPYRE RECREATED IN MINECRAFT
By: The Spiral Project
And here’s an amazing replica of Dragonspyre in Minecraft created by Austin Freay from The Spiral Project!
“I have spent about 63 hours constructing an entire zone from Wizard101 into Minecraft. The Grand Chasm is one of my absolute favorite zones in Dragonspyre, and Wizard101 as a whole. I hope you enjoy the video.
Thank you for creating such an astounding universe, and I look forward to building more zones in the future!” - Austin Frey
