	The Heat is On! Welcome to the July Ravenwood Bulletin Newsletter. Boy it sure is hot here at the KingsIsle Entertainment offices - nothing like temperatures of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit to keep a Fire Wizard comfortable! What better way to beat the heat than shopping! There are lots of interesting new things in the Spiral, including the Wysteria House, Hoard of the Hydra Pack, and lots of new Avalon furnishings! Harold Argleston's Book of the Month Club


	This is the July installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA. July's Book of the Month is African Princess by Joyce Hansen, illustrated by Laurie McGraw. This book has gorgeous pictures and true stories about real African princesses! Did you know that Princess Amina was a great warrior with a beautiful Arabian horse? Or that Princess Taytu of Ethiopia saved her country from signing a treaty that would cheat them because she studied so hard and knew so much about law? How about that Princess Elizabeth of Uganda was a famous fashion model and represented Uganda at the United Nations? All the princesses in this book are strong and smart, and best of all, all of them are real people too! Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!

Amber


	Amber Amber is a hot topic these days and with our most recent update, the chance of getting Amber from the harvest of White Tiger Lily, Deadly Ninja Fig, King Parsley, Red Bell Pepper and Red Huckleberries has been slightly increased. White Tiger Lily still has the best chance of rewarding you with Amber on Elder Harvest. In addition to slightly increased harvest rates, a new transmutation recipe is available from Shane MacGobhann in Avalon. Amber Dust and another mystery reagent are available from bosses like the Pendragon, Morganthe and Starburst Spider as well as bosses in Waterworks and Briskbreeze towers.
