A great gameplay tip submitted to KI Live comes from Julia and Wizhead:
"Never go into a battle with a full backpack you might find yourself losing items as you quest." - Juia
Wizhead adds: "ALWAYS turn on backpack item lock, you can find it under settings in your spell book!"
5TH AGE PVP DEV DIARY AND ROUNDTABLE
With 5th Age, PvP play will be moved to a season-based system with season-based leagues, a new zero-sum Elo scoring system, and a complete overhaul of the fundamentals of how we achieve a fair and fantastically fun competitive PvP gameplay experience, which most of this news was mentioned in the Dev Diary with Ratbeard!

Adam has been busy creating cool new art! Check out a few of his latest concepts below:
“Here's the Xiphos weapon, which is a snake-themed sword. Also, the color variants of the Strix.” - Adam Roush
“Here's the Elephant Mount from the Aquila hoard pack.” - Adam Roush

FINAL BASTION SPELLMAKER TOOL
Final Bastion presented on his YouTube channel an excellent Beastmoon Mayhem getting started guide. Even if you are an experienced Beastmoon player, this guide is worth reviewing for tips and tricks about succeeding in this incredibly fun and competitive event.
“The Spellwrighting Contest that introduced the Spellmaker tool for our site is over, but the tool didn’t really get a proper introduction. That’s why I’ve decided to create a guide to explain some of the features that Final Bastion’s Spellmaker tool is capable of. In addition to making your own spell, you can also use the Spell Balancer to make your spell’s damage on par with in-game spells. But more on that later!
The original idea of a Card Maker comes from another official fansite - Legends of the Spiral, and you can check out their tool here.” - Final Bastion
ART SPOTLIGHT
For this month’s art spotlight, we are showcasing the winner of DuelCircle's Art Contest. Congrats to Tatiana RainbowRiver!
"Hello! Here is my submission for the Mander Masterpieces contest! I created it in Clip Studio Paint and had to go in-game to get screenshots for references of the Krokopshinx. I really liked that area of Krokotopia because of the ice and the blue manders!
I wanted to participate in this contest because I don't draw wizard101 stuff despite playing the game a lot, so I thought this would be good practice and a fun experience! I also really like manders, so I took the opportunity to learn how to draw them. I think it was a pretty decent start! Thank you to DuelCircle and KingsIsle for hosting this fun contest!" - Tatiana RainbowRiver
We would love to see more screenshots and art from the community for next month’s newsletter. Do you have something amazing to share? Send it to us in an email to community@kingsisle.com! We’re always interested in showing off more fan art, gameplay guides, videos, and other content.
Thanks, Wizards!

Major Badge Achievement
Congrats to Logan BattleGem on achieving the Castle Inspector Badge after 500 consecutive days of working toward the badge!
"One of the most difficult and time-consuming badges KingsIsle has added to Wizard101, I have finally received the CASTLE INSPECTOR BADGE! It took me a total of 500 consecutive days to just earn this badge and now I can finally celebrate!
This badge is awarded for rating a total of 5000 castles in the Castle Tours Headquarters. KingsIsle implemented a limit for rating houses, only being able to rate a maximum of 10 castles per day. If you were to consecutively rate 10 castles per day until you rated a total of 5000 castles, it would take you 500 days, well over a year’s worth of dedication and commitment to the game. Well, I did the impossible and managed to be one of the few players to receive it!
Good luck to anyone wishing to pursue this badge!" - Logan BattleGem
