Challenge Accepted

Wizard101 Ice Professor Lydia Greyrose
July is here and I'm doing my best to keep the air cool in Ravenwood. Many of our young Wizards are out of regular school and in to Wizard school! You'll notice many more Wizards in the Spiral and as our population at Ravenwood grows, we ask you to help welcome our newest Wizards by being good role models. If you see a young Wizard in distress, offer to assist them either by joining their duel or leading them to their goal. The smallest good deed is better than the greatest intention, and all it takes is one nice Wizard to make a big difference for everyone.

Those young Wizards who choose to be mean or inappropriate should realize that everything that a player enters into the chat window is logged and those chat logs are read by the Professors. We've placed the tools in your hands to report players for inappropriate behavior. We ask that you use the reporting feature to identify truly egregious behavior, such as creative profanity (swearing around the filters), solicitation of usernames/passwords, predatory threats, racist comments and other such actions as outlined in the Terms of Use.

I Dare you to Face me Again!

nullMalistaire Challenge!
Malistaire has sent out a challenge to all Wizards who have defeated him in the past to come back and challenge him again.

Those of you who accept his challenge will notice an update to the encounter that includes new cinematics and more to the story of his treachery and deceit.

Players can team up to re-do the Malistaire encounter in Dragonspyre, and very brave young Wizards can also choose to complete this dungeon alone, if you dare!

Harold Argleston's Book of the Month Club

Wizard101 Librarian Harold ArglestonThis is the July installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

This time our chosen book is a comic book called Trickster: Native American Tales, a Graphic Collection.

This is a thick comic book of stories from Native American tribes from all over the USA, even Alaska and Hawaii. Some of them are funny, like “Rabbit’s Choctaw Tail Tale,” and some of them are creepy, like “The Dangerous Beaver.” All of them are written by Native American storytellers and illustrated by comic book artists. Parts of some of the stories might be too scary for younger kids. But if you like folklore and you want a book that has new and different stories, Trickster might be for you!

Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!
