Wizard city areas not free?

currently when trying to enter any member areas in wizard city on a non member account it still prompts me to buy the zones with crowns. is this a glitch or has the event not started yet or something?

Have you tried it since to see if it was working? I saw a lot of people in Cyclops Lane, so it made me happy!
