for some reason smith located in the commons is not letting me pick it up.. i have all the other ones except for that one. can someone please tell me what i should do?

Yes this is a mistype - the Olde Town Smith is listed as being in the Commons. The Olde Town Smith is obviously not in the Commons - try looking in Olde Town for him, he seems to like Gloria Krendell.

the commons smith is in the fair grounds behind a tree hop you find him!!!! :) :)
