Zoom out to see better

Hi,

There are some very cool places, but I wish I could zoom out (more than it currently allows) so much out that I can see far and high enough almost to see even the roof/up not just in front - I really think we miss a lot by not having this, there's so much more around and up we just cannot see.

I know I can use mouse click plus drag to view up but it's kind of awkward.

Zoom so far out that our character is very tiny but we can see everything around us.

I really want this

You know, when I first started playing and got hooked, my eyes got so used to looking down that it was a shock the first time I went outside and saw the sky again.

I'm with you, the "free look" option could be relaxed a bit more. There's a lot of design effort I can't really appreciate right now, and our options aren't adequate to address this.

what you want, is an option older video games had for camera views:

1st camera angle (just above the head of the character you were playing)
2nd camera angle (above and behind the character you're playing just a little bit)
3rd camera angle (far back and behind the character you're playing)

This would be great AND would fix the "I can't see how much damage I did" as well as other visual "bugs" (notice the quotes). That being said, it would take a HUGE amount of coding (I am guessing) to implement it, and while I think SOMETHING like this should be done, Id rather they focused n larger issues in the game

I'd love this. There are SO many beautiful places throughout the Spiral we can't see properly. This is something that should be implemented.

Good Call there my friend.
I am completely for this. I think it will help us with out view and understanding of the game. If you go to GH or Any other places and you carefully look you will find allot of mystery that wizard101 put inside of the game. I did some research and man I was shocked. I really recommend trying it out.( In game symbols, the names, the way they speak and their accent) It was just beyond me.

btw, while NOT in fights, if you use the scroll wheel on your mouse, it WILL pan out and back, but in a fight, it's locked into a single camera view

It's still not enough though.
