I don't know about others but I think it would be great if we could not only get new spells but upgrade the ones we already have to make them more powerful and after upgrading a spell enough it become a different spell, so what i'm saying is that we should be able to evolve our spells without having to get one of the celestial spells to do it
I like this idea, and there's examples of it already in place; though as separate spells. Link/Power Link & Plague/Virulent plague are just 2. I think it would be great if instead of a second spell, if Link would be upgraded to powerlink and then to super link (as an example of upgrading further). The problem I can see here, and I REALLY like this idea, is that, HOW should they be upgraded? What should happen with them? Would the spell get transformed into a new spell or would we learn a new spell? Take Link and power link; they're 2 separate spells.
When Fire spells get upgraded to the max level, would they get DoT? Would Life get HoT additions to it's healing spells? Would non Hit and Heal death spells get upgraded to hit and heal? Would Storm and Ice start getting stun after every spell?
Would Spells get an after effect spell at max? Example, would Dr Von's, when upgraded get any healing dispels or life sucking DoT? Would Fire spells that were already DoT get a smokescreen effect?
I think if done properly, it could be a LOT of fun and a new way to work spells; the concept just needs to be done right, right from the start or else people will complain all over the place.
that is a cool idea but i think it would make pvp's longer and harder to win because then you would never know what lvl they are and to make it worst what lvl there spells are so thats my opinion.
I get what your saying but what I had in mind was when you get a training point you could also get a spell upgrade and for the wizards who are already high levels they will get the same amount of spell upgrades to equal the the amount of training points they have acquired over the levels
