Kingsisle since the beginning has refused to publish a road map - or to even discuss what might be implemented.
I have no idea why, however the company has changed hands and hopefully the new one understands the basic needs gamers have - and is interested in growing the player base.
One of the things that we as players need and want is a development roadmap.
We want to know what the devs are working on now, what they are considering for coming releases, and so on. We play the game, we want to stay interested in the game, and we need information if we're not going to give up and go play something else.
The largest part of the player base are no longer little kids, they're experienced gamers who are fairly sophisticated and who have played a wide range of other games and MMORPGs. The family friendly atmosphere doesn't need to change, but things that are fairly standard across the industry, and that are done specifically to retain and get new players, need to be also done with Wizard101
