I got the idea for a new crown item when i looked at the bluebonnet flowerbed. A reagent flower bed. I could and would most definately be a crown item that players can put in their house when they are master artisans. These reagent beds could spawn the basic stuff depending on what the player bought say about the rate of six a day and picking them would be no different than picking on the grounds. You know where you might get say just mandrake or several mandrake and the occasional blood moss. With the wonderful expansion of the crafting stuff there is only so much farming a reagent farmer can do. And it would have to be a crown item cause such a thing is worth the premium.
Also it would be cool to have active gardens in the yard :D
