As an example, let's take the quest "Into The Map Room" which involves defeating a dungeon boss. Currently, the reward for completing this quest is (685 xp and a Fire Chameleon Statue). However, we suggest updating the reward to be more enticing for players the new reward could include 1000 xp, 5-10-15 Crowns (randomly generated), and a Random Crown Item. By increasing the XP and offering a range of Crowns, players will feel more motivated to complete this quest. Additionally, by replacing the Fire Chameleon Statue with a random Crown Item, we can offer a more diverse range of rewards, which can make the quest more interesting and enjoyable for players.
- Proposal for Level Rewards:
To incentivize players to continue leveling up, we suggest implementing a level reward system. After every 10 levels, players should receive a level reward box for example, if a player starts at level 1 and reaches level 5, they can open the level 5 reward box. The box itself cannot be traded in the shared bank, but it can be opened once the player reaches the corresponding level the level reward box should contain starting gear that players can wear for about 2-3 weeks, similar to rental gear. Once the gear's expiration date is up, the gear would disappear. However, players can choose to permanently buy the gear or extend the rental if they wish. The gear cannot be traded, so making it non-tradeable is a better idea contents of the level reward box should be random, but should include items for crafting, such as crafting materials, as well as gold pouches containing a random amount of gold ranging from 1000 to 5000 including random Crown items would make the level reward boxes even more enticing for players Overall, implementing a level reward system for every 10 levels would encourage players to continue playing and leveling up, while also providing them with useful rewards to aid in their progress.
- Proposal for Better Daily Rewards:
Currently, the daily quests and rewards are lackluster, and the random nature of the rewards makes them not worth the effort. We suggest improving the daily rewards by offering better items that are useful to the player, as well as additional XP that can be used for leveling up furthermore, the daily quest system should be reworked to encourage more players to participate. One way to do this is to make the rewards more attractive, but another is to make the quests more accessible. Rather than requiring players to manually check the daily quests each day, a menu option could be added to show the daily quests. This would make it easier for players to keep track of their progress and encourage them to complete daily quests more regularly overall, improving the daily rewards and making the quests more accessible would be a great way to encourage more players to engage with this feature of the game and make it more worthwhile for them to participate.
- Proposal for Boss Drops:
The current boss drops in the game are not always worth the effort put into farming them. While some bosses drop gear specific to a player's school, many drops are random and can be disappointing to players who have spent a lot of time and effort trying to acquire specific items. For example, it is frustrating to spend countless hours farming a boss only to receive gear that is meant for a completely different school to improve the system, it would be helpful if drops were reworked so that the correct items would always drop for the appropriate school type. This would make the farming process less frustrating for players and ensure that their time and effort is being used effectively. With this change, players would be able to obtain the gear they need without relying on luck or chance, which would ultimately lead to a more satisfying gameplay experience.
- Proposal For Crown Potions/Elixirs:
The XP Boost Elixir currently available for purchase does not provide a significant enough boost to be worth buying. It would be more valuable if the XP boost was increased to 50-100%. Similarly, the Gold Boost Elixir could benefit from a rework to increase the gold boost to 50-100% and the time limit extended to 3-4 hours from the current 1 hour. Other elixirs' time limits should also be reviewed and improved as necessary as for elixirs that are not popular with buyers, such as the Critical Elixir, it may be beneficial to either remove them or replace them with more valuable options overall, a review of the elixir selection would likely lead to a more satisfying and useful experience for players.
- Proposal For Backpack/Bank increase for membership players:
As a Wizard101 member, I feel that it would greatly benefit the game if the backpack and bank sizes were increased. Currently, members are limited to a maximum of 150 slots in their backpack, which can quickly become inadequate for players who enjoy farming and collecting gear. Similarly, the bank size for members is only 500 slots, which can fill up quickly with items to improve the game experience for members, I suggest increasing the backpack size to 200 slots and the bank size to 1000 slots, instead of the current limit of 500 slots. Additionally, it would be beneficial if the shared bank size could be increased as well. This change would allow players to have more storage space without having to purchase crown potions to increase their backpack and bank size overall, I believe this change would be welcomed by many players, as it would allow for a more seamless and enjoyable gameplay experience for those who like to collect and keep various items.
These are a few changes that I believe would greatly improve the gameplay experience in Wizard101. Firstly, the quest system and loot system could use an update to make them more engaging and rewarding for players. Quests could be made more challenging and diverse, while loot drops could be adjusted to make them more relevant and useful to players In addition, I suggest reviewing and adjusting the rewards system to make it more appealing to players. This could include adding more valuable rewards for completing quests and achievements, as well as re-evaluating and potentially removing items that are no longer popular or relevant to the game lastly, there are several items in the game that could be removed or changed to make the overall experience more enjoyable for players. This could include outdated items that nobody buys or items that are not popular among players. By removing or changing these items, the game could become more streamlined and focused on what players truly enjoy overall, I believe these changes would be beneficial and would improve the quality of life for players in Wizard101. It's important to keep the game fresh and exciting, and these updates could do just that.
