I just had this idea in a dream. I dreamt of seeing a leaderboard of many people doing a speedrun of Malistaire Any% where the entire idea is to go through Wizard City to the end of Dragonspyre. However, the only way they did it was through an offline version of the game. This is where my suggestion comes in, how about an offline mode? Not only would this be fun, but it would also help preserve the game for a lifetime. You can play with up to 8 people via LAN play while switching between different game versions. It would be fascinating to see how the game evolved.
