Myth and Life Spells

Okay, so the two most struggling wizards I see around the spiral are myth and life, but especially myth.
Life and myth need an attack all spell at level 48. I still don't understand why they never got it, they deserve it. It's super hard to get along in Dragonspyre and the first part of Celestia relying on tons of centaurs if you're a life wizard, and myth's multi attack spells are too weak. It's just hard, and a lot of them are forced to team up with others.

So, at level 58 life receives forest lord, a very powerful attack all spell. So life is good from then on. But myth gets some other spell, and they still have to deal with the low level attack all spells, humungo frog and earthquake. So they pretty much have to use a ton of blades and traps just to get the damage that a level 58 spell from another school could easily do with little to no blades and traps. It's really not fair to myth wizards.

Myth starts out as one of the strongest schools. At first, the spells deal a decent amount of damage, and the minions help a lot, but at higher levels, the attack all spells aren't good enough, and the minions start getting annoying by using your traps when you don't want them to and messing things up.

I'm not saying myth or life are bad, they're both great powerful schools, but can King's Isle please make myth attack all spells stronger and/or add a new one, and add a new life attack all spell that you get earlier in the game? I'm not a theurgist or a conjurer myself but I don't want any school to suffer.

Your points are supported by using the abundance of single target spells from Life such as Centaur, and the less than desirable damage from the Myth AE spell, Humungofrog.

It is my opinion that your play style, simply, does not fit either of these two schools, as you mentioned in your last paragraph "I'm not a theurgist or a conjurer myself" and you don't wish for any school to suffer.

My question is why do others repeatedly recommend Life school as a "secondary" and why do so many players "immensely dislike" Earthquake, the various Myth Stun, and Myth Imp? If these schools were in such need of modifying, players would simply develop strategies involving the other 5 schools then spending Training Points, or consider grouping up with a player from the inferior Life, or Myth schools.

While it is a fact that defeating street mobs, or boss/minion fights with AE attack spells is quicker, perhaps there are those that enjoy the hard-hitting ST attack spells.

Does ANY school offer a comparable spell to Life's "Guardian Spirit", or AE Accuracy, Healing Charms? Experienced players know to defeat a Life school enemy as quickly as possible to disable healing/shielding.

Myth school, to my knowledge, is the ONLY school that hits twice (Minotaur, Orthrus), and can Stun for two turns (Medusa). Couple these spells with the ability to remove your Blades/Wards using spells like Earthquake, and Shatter, and you have several ways to dispatch your enemy.

While these schools may not match your play style, this does not mean that they are in need of changes. These schools have served their purpose for years, and will continue to do so in the future of Wizard101.

Again, EVERY school has its strengths, and weakness, and it is up to the player to determine which school best fits their play style.

I soloed one of my myth wizard through most of the worlds. At no point did I feel as if I struggled. A few blades mixed with a boosted frog makes a quick powerful attack.

At the present time I am taking a life wizard through Avalon. She has soloed the entire game except for a few select instances. As with myth, I have never felt as if I was struggling. Has the battles been longer than if I were storm or fire? Yes, they have, but although longer, I was not defeated as often.

with the right deck setup neither of these schools need to struggle through the spiral

Thank you so much! You're typing exactly what i'm thinking. Life is super hard to use. Of course one can think, " Oh come on, Life gets heals! If anything Life's the easiest" Well there's such thing as too much heals. It's annoying when I get in a battle whenever I check my deck, all I see are shields, healings, absorbs. They're useful, but I still want to at least get rid of my enemy/enemies. Especially the AeE. It's annoying having to wait when your over half of the game done you finally get it. I'm not trying to complain, but you have to waste like 24 pieces of mana instead of only using 8. Especially since it takes a LONG time when a life's in battle. I love life but it's just hard for me. I also hope Myth does well. I am not a conjurer at all, but it does sound like a hard school too. Hopefully it will! I love the game, but you know I am getting stuck a lot on the quests and none of my friends are ever on when I need them.
See ya soon in the spiral!

Life wizards struggle to finish battling quests and stuff because it takes SOOOO long! They don't have alot of damage spells, instead they have health spells which are useful but today I saw a 7,ooo health rank 10 boss and I was wondering how can a life wizard finish this boss off? What if this wizard has plans later today and has to flee? Just my thoughts....takes WAY to long to finish a boss off with a bunch of health spells

Myth is the one wizard of mine that easily soloed everything through the end of Khrysalis, including Tartarus. I wouldn't mind a stronger AOE than Frog, but it hasn't really been necessary so far. Life is a little tough in Celestia until you get Forest Lord, but then it becomes a breeze through all the upper worlds. I think both schools are very well balanced for PvE play, it's just a matter of playing your school strengths. As for the comments by some about having too many healing spells come up in battle. That simple, STOP carrying so many. You shouldn't be carrying a full deck if you are playing solo or in attack mode.
