Mortis' spells

I'm just wondering what Pacify, Calm, Subdue, and Soothe do.
Also you probably know this but if Pacify, Taunt, Calm, Subdue, and Soothe are X ranked spells if they are in your main school of focus, but if not they are rank 2 spells.
