I believe after opening 60-100 packs you should be able to get the special item out of the pack and get to pick the variant of it. For example if the pack's focus is spells, you should be able to pick what spell it is or if it is mounts, you should be able to pick what mount it is, but only after opening the pack threshold. You could invest $100+ worth of crowns and not get the item you want, even though you already spent alot of money and that is unfair for anyone who spends that much money. What do you think of there being a threshold for pack to give you the item you were looking for from them and the threshold can reset if they get the special item before they reach it etc.
