Hey, I believe this topic was brought up servral times due to kids growing up, families having issues, but id think it would be a great idea to be able to remove sub accounts from master accounts! I also have an issue where me and my older cousin played this game growing up we use to split the membership, but we parted ways and no longer have contact, Im 20 now and II have all my wizards just standing there waiting to get a membership which they cant due to not having the master login, id like to transfer them over to my new account but I read that it has to be in the same family account.... any advice besides starting over which I just did?

It does seem a bit 'final' when linking wizards can never be changed. The only reasons I can think of as to why it's like this is that they don't want to allow people to exploit the family discount or moving wizards by joining and unjoining family accounts...but a discount could just expire as soon as they're moved and moving wizards between accounts already requires both to have active one year memberships.

I'm not sure the reason they can't be changed, especially for accounts that are not COPPA protected. Perhaps it complicates billing? Perhaps it's to inhibit selling of accounts? IDK, but I agree it would be positive if they were able to allow accounts to unlink so they are no longer reliant on access to the master owner's email address and account for payment.

It might be that they have very understandable reasons for not allowing this, but I'm also unsure what they are. An explanation of it from KI would be helpful, or if it's possible, a change to allow this

My account is on mute and I am trying to buy a membership to keep playing. I'm 19 now and its been almost 9 years since my mute. However, I do not know my master password. I reset it and it sends to an old email of mine, I go to that email and there is nothing. I checked all folders including spam. The Wizard101 emails are disabled and I cannot enable it without the master password. My goodness! What do I do?
