Tie in with the other Balance Gear in Zafaria and beyond
Tie in with the elemental and spirit spears received in Avalon
Is consistent in time frame (level) with the introduction of Chimera (spirit damage)

Thank you, I think it fits in nicely with the class, gives balance a way to deal with balance mobs and bosses, something to use the elemental and spirit blades, traps, spears and even the shield breakers (hydra and chimera) on. As gear it also comes at a price, no changing mid battle, and no switching back to the un shieldable balance damage on the fly either. realtivly low potential impact on pvp as well as it converts the un shieldable balance damage into a random shieldable counterpart (spirit or elemental respectivly). and most importantly, it includes the balance school in places and ways that has had a bit of neglect or underwhelming updates. Low risk for KI with high potential reward in player satsifaction and school playability, seams like a no brainer to me.
