upper limit on gold

In playing other games, there is often a limit on the gold or currency that a player may have with a particular toon or character. :(

What is the upper limit of gold (if any) that a particular wizard may have?

The maximum amount of gold each character can hold is 150 000.
If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.

I cant even get past 70,000.
