Transferring furniture

I recently purchased a castle and want to have my dorm room items moved to the castle. Is there a way to do this?

Use your treasure chest (bank) and place what you want to move into the shared items section.

I believe when I made my move I picked everything up and it went in my attic, from there I moved the things to my backpack to put them in my new house.
