I want to prevent my account from renewing it's membership without canceling the membership. I read a little about it here but I want a little clarification. If I press "end" button on the Change Membership page, will it cancel the membership entirely or just stop the automatic renewal? Thanks!

No. If you have paid for a month or more, hitting "End" will only prevent the renewal. You will still be able to play until time runs out.
