so I got the Phoenix card a little bit ago and decided to upgrade that card in the spellwrighting section. The upgrade reads (480-500 fire attack & 360 healing over 3 rounds per fire pip up to two). Everytime I play this card, it only ever does the attack stats and never the healing as well in battle. I always make sure there's at least 2 fire pips too but still no luck. Can anyone help with this?
That Phoenix spellement path can be a bit confusing. The real meaning of the card description is it will deal 480-500 damage and then give you one HoT healing 360 health over 3 rounds per DoT that is on the target with a maximum of two.
In simpler terms, the enemy must have at least 1 DoT on it already in order for you to get the HoT of 360 health over 3 rounds. 1 DoT = 360 health over 3 rounds; 2 DoT = 720 health over 3 rounds.
