Is it possible to Mutate upgraded spells?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to mutate Minotaur, for example, after upgrading it with spellements. And will the mutated card (turned into Deadly Minotaur) keep the upgraded benefits. This would be using the trained mutate minotaur sun spell.
