I'm pretty sure I have a patching problem; I just started 'trying' to play yesterday, and after I got the game installed and it went through patching and said I could play my problems began. I managed to create my Wizard, and go through the initial fight, and had the Headmaster tell me to wait and he would summon me. That never happened. I waited for about an hour or so, and the game died on me. When I tried to start the game again, it started patching again, and after 7-8 hours (no joke) it still hasn't gotten past patching _Shared-WorldData.wad...I even uninstalled the game and tried again with the exact same results.
It looks like a great game, but I don't know if I'll ever actually get to play *sigh* Does anyone have any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?!
