I was born August 16. I created my account in December several years ago. I didn’t lie about my age, like most people do, and I put my true age upon making the account. I am now 18 and eligible for open chat- considering I’m an adult now. However, I can’t figure out how to change it to open. How do I do this? Do I need to provide some kind of proof?

Log into the website (you'll need to be logged into the master account if you have one) and go to 'My Accounts' then 'Parental Controls'. You will find the chat options there and be able to toggle them on/off.
