How does stitching a wand work?

So I have the sky iron hasta, and the Plauge Oni's sapphire blade. The blade gives me a really cool wand spell that looks awesome. If I would be to stitch the Sky Iron onto the blade, would the look of the spell be kept?

I only get crowns from trivia so I really don't want to try and have it fail!

Stitching is used to transfer stats of an unwanted/unattractive appearance of an item to a wanted one basically.

So,

In your case, the Sky Iron Hasta (Wand A) has the stats, but you don't want the item (look of it).
The Sword (Wand B) has the look but not the stats.

The wand spell I am guessing you are talking about is one that sees your wizard going into the center of the field and attacking, right?

So, if you stitch Wand A to Wand B, you are transferring the stats of Wand A (Sky Iron) thus removing item from inventory to Wand B (Sword).

So, you will now end up with Wand B having Wand A stats.
Because of this, when you cast the minor (wand hit) you will not appear in the battle field swiping the enemy. You will instead be casting a fire spell (off the Sky Iron Wand) that instead has a small burning animation.

Because the Sky Iron offers excellent stats for your level (Master level I'm guessing?), I recommend keeping it, even if it's not "cool."

But, if you want the swiping animation that comes the sword, then you will have the stitch the stats of the sword to the appearance of the Sky Iron.

Hope this helps!

Some times when you look at things in a chart form you may get a better understanding
I do hope this makes things clearer. Good luck

Stitching changes the appearance of the wand (or sword or whatever) you hold in your hand. It does NOT change the animation of the attack. The attack animation is tied to the specific item spell card, which comes from the wand in the "stats" side of the stitching window, not the appearance side. There is no way to change the attack animation but keep different attack stats as you are asking.
