If you are a Life wizard, you receive Fairy instead of Pixie, and Fairy can be used on yourself or other players. Life also receives many other healing spells that can be used on other players. I believe that Death has other player healing spells, too. It just depends on your school.

Yes Death does have 1 heal card on target. You sacrafice some of your health to heal a single target.
Tip: Guys, I see death wizs doing this a lot, they take health from them to heal another player all the time. Death Wizs, why don't you guys use a Death Shield on yourselves when you do this?
It boggles my mind everytime I see Death wizs takeing their own hit points away from themselves to heal another player. When I use that spell I always, always, Stick a Death Shield on myself, then use the card, and did not understand why other Death guys never did.

One way for wizards in a school that has no heal-others spell to heal others is to buy Sprite treasure cards and keep them in the sideboard. A Sprite card will bring a defeated wizard back into the game and heal All of my wizards who don't have heal-others spells carry Sprite cards in the side-board.

If you use a shield it will not heal the other player as much.
