I know this is not part of what u was talking about but i think that ice magic kinda sucks because all they use is tower shields over and over again and it gets annoying just saying
If you're going to use henchmen, just get three Life 60 and replace them when they disappear (which won't happen often). You don't even need to cast any spells yourself. They'll do all of the fighting.

Maybe a couple shields every once in a while, or a Balance Blade. But isn't that sort of cheating? Money can't buy everything (except Snow Angel spells, aparently.)
