just wondering, if you already have an account can you still claim a friend code that a friend sends you? i have had a few friends send me some and i already am a paying member would really love to get the rare pet dragon that comes when you claim it

If your friend is already playing Wizard101 with a free or paying account, you cannot get the Crowns gift by inviting them to play. But you can still have fun playing with your friend!
This means you cannot be invited to a game you already play. Your current account cannot receive the Invite-a-Friend reward. You are welcome to invite yourself and make a new account, but only that account can get the pet, and items cannot be transferred between accounts.
True Friend Code and Invite a Friend are two different things.
