back fire beguile?

i was in the Drum Jungle area of Zafaria fighting the Spider Witches and the most unusual thing happened...

i beguiled one of the three witches and when it cast a humogofrog on its companions the frog did a 180 and got us as though there was no beguile.

this happened not once but twice in that one battle to 2 different witches.

anyone else experience this "turn" of events?
