In one of the Wizard101 livestreams (it's been a while I can't remember which one specifically), I think Dworgyn and Falmea mentioned something about what happens when she wakes up. So it's possible that she will be important later on. For now she's just a living battery for the Arcanum.
It would be kind of odd for Bartelby to have another sibling besides Raven that hasn't ever been mentioned before. Then again, we didn't meet Grandmother Raven until Wintertusk and we didn't hear about Grandfather Spider, who seems to have a complicated relationship with Raven, until the end of Khyrsalis so it wouldn't be glaringly suspicious.
But it would be interesting for the tree and Bartelby to be long lost lovers to act as a foil to whatever relationship Grandmother Raven and Grandfather Spider once had.
