AOE meaning

What does AOE spells means? The only thing i know is that it means it attack all enemies all round but what does it stands for?

I guess i am the only person who doesnt knows.

Yes, Peabotz is right. To add to what s/he said, an area of effect spell, or AOE, targets all enemies- here's a list:

Balance: Sandstorm, Power Nova, Ra
Life: Forest Lord
Death: Scarecrow
Myth: Humungofrog, Earthquake
Fire: Meteor Strike, Fire Dragon
Ice: Blizzard, Snow Angel
Storm: Tempest, Sirens
