How come when the option to duel those wizards within your skill level is selected....a private is consistently matched with a warlord in 1v1. I was under the impression that could only occur if you select not to be matched with skill level. In other words, checking the box provides you a match even though it might not be fair (to get a match regardless). However, no matter which option is selected you are consistently unevenly matched (as a captain or lower).
The system isn't even "thinking" of finding someone of captain or lower rank. The warlord matches pop up instantly after requesting a match.
