I agree that the pet rock is pretty cool but I think KI did it for April Fools Day. Pretty much all my friends I talked to thought it was going to be the new lvl 58 pets coming out. I also think that it is based on the later 1900s toy "The Pet Rock". Although I am not that old I have read the advertisements for them and they sound a lot like the the statement KI put out. (Just a thought) So anyway I agree with you, I wish I had the crowns to buy one :?
Pet rocks were actually a fad in the real world many years ago (30+), with many stores selling pet rocks, pet rock adoptions, etc. I think it is wonderful that on April's Fool's Day that KI reminded some us we are ancient :-)
