What is the deal with Mana gift? is it mandatory that Every type pet I have get it no matter how it is trained or fed? :( if I want to boost my mana, I do it with my gear. This is possibly one of the most useless traits there could be. yet it seems to be preprogrammed into every pet, new, or hatched.
I personally find the Mana Gift pet skill completely useless and it frustrates me so much when a seemingly useful pet gains that skill and then I have to go through all that work to hatch another pet and use up a lot more pet snacks to train it up so it can learn more useful skills.
I can make it through a dozen quests and plenty of fights and boss fights without ever depleting my mana before having to refill it hours and hours later in town.
I have many friends that have sent many, many letters about this useless skill. Mana Gift should be removed from the Pet Skills list completely.
