Lack of clarity with Pet Development System.

Does the pet's stats determine what kind of Talents will manifest?

1) If my Sea Dragon mature to Teen with 250 Power, will it gain a "rarer" talent then if it mature to Teen with 10 Power?

2) Is it possible to train the pet even AFTER it gain Epic? Will we be able to continue training it to max-out its status?

Please help me with these questions, thanks for your time...
