Closing the Portal Quest

There is a quest in the Village of Sorrows, where you are asked to use 3 candles to seal a portal preventing the dead from coming into Mooshu.

The order is middle (with two enemies), right (with Grief spectre and another ghost) and the third candle on the left summoning the boss.

On a solo mission, I managed to get everyone but the boss, and I was unable to get help when I was battling. I need help.
