On Wiz, as in life, we are the hero of our story. We meet people along our journey, act and react in ways that make us feel like we did the right thing when we defeat 'the villain'. But, there's more than 1 side to every story, and the 'villain' feels like they are the hero of theirs. All this time we have had no way of knowing the true ramifications of our actions... until now. If you have ever wondered what the Spiral would be like had 'the villain' had their way, well, here's your chance.
For the month of April, Wizard101 is featuring 'Play as the Villain Mode'. So, say hello to the bad guy and get to know your inner Malistaire... or Morganthe, or Lord NightShade, etc., when you play in Villain Mode. To access this once-a-year feature, go to your Wiz Settings, click on Gameplay Options 5 and change 'Hero Mode' to 'Villain Mode'. This will activate all major boss sequences (not mobs) to switch roles. You will play as the big bad boss. If you as the enemy are defeated by the Wizard, you return to being the hero you've always been and your wizardly excursions continue. But if you, as the so-called bad guy, defeat the wizard you once were, well you get to know their side a little bit more. You'll get to see what they do next, whom they encounter, and then you'll know... are they truly the villain Merle Ambrose set them out to be? Do THEY think themselves the bad guy? Or are they just ... misunderstood?
So join us in the Spiral... if you dare. And take on the story-line in a way never told before. Just go to Gameplay Option 6 in Settings, switch 'Dark Side' from off to 'ON' and you'll get to choose spells from the villain's spellbook. Morganthe awaits. This is a limited time feature and will only be playable for the month of

APRIL FOOLS!
This! It sounds super creative. KI, consider integrating something special like this
By doing so, will grab the attention of more older players. Hopefully we'll be able to see returning players coming back to the game due to unique improvements being made to the game to make it more relatable to our real-life environment as well.

I actually love this idea <3 what I argue would be the most valuable item would be moon school treasure cards respective to each villain, or even spellements for said cards? whatcha guys think?
it could be done if there was one arc. then there is the story. Does Mallistaire really control the Dragon titan. then you have to explain why the wizard is now working for Morganthe, old Cob,etc. and not maintaining loyalty . So while it sounds good. best solution would be KI to create potion where for one hour you will have the stats and spells of a specific villain .
