cant pick up house item

I put a candle on the floor of my house and it was too close to the wall or something. Now I can't pick it up. I would appreciate any help anyone can give.

While we're at it, lol, I have a water "jug" from Mooshu stuck on my lawn in the large Marleybone house.

I'm having the same problem with a teapot. It's to close to the wall and I'm unable to select it to pick it up or move it.
