the battle circle in the hedge maze

ok i remember looking in the hedge maze and seeing a BATTLE CIRCLE i dont know if this is a bug or a quest for a certain school but if YOU know could you tell me cause i am still sitting here thinking i am gonna fight lady oriel as i level up! :( :(
