Bishop is a church ranking, so that wouldn't work. However, the prefix arch would. Say an ArchMage ... anyone who is a fan of fantasy novels knows that an ArchMage is the creme of the crop.

Maybe the name "Archman", or just "GrandWizard" or "GrandWitch" showing your officially a Witch or Wizard.

I like the idea of arch mage, but I was thinking something like "Master of Spells" or "Master of the Spiral"

But they already have "Master of ____" when you complete your 48 quest. So that wouldnt work. I was thinking:

Lord/Lady of wizardry. That'd be kewl.

Kestrel Ghostwalker~ Lady of wizardry!

That's true. Might want to leave ArchMage for the final ranking. How about Magi

My idea is a combination of the ideas already posted, so I can't take full credit!

"Lord of The Spiral" and "Lady of The Spiral"

:)

We could possibly make the transition name when your in the 50's maybe like Cardinal Wizard, and when you reach level 60 your title could be "Preeminent ___" and have the type of wizard you are, i.e for fire it'd be Preeminent Pyromancer. For those of you who don't know what Preeminent means, it means superior/ important. :)

That's a cool idea. It could also be something like Archconjuer or Archsorcerer.
