Check the dead ends at Chelsea Court paying close attention to the areas behind the large black towers near boss' chambers. After checking each one change realms and repeat. Usually by going to the perfect realms you can find more.

My favorite zone for scrap iron is Hyde Park.

You usually find it at the dead ends, near boss locations. Maybe you could try choosing a realm that is not so busy?

Also, when you enter a dungeon like the Ironworks, you have it to yourself and you might find a couple pieces there.
