I don't understand what I have to do to get inside to talk to Grunk. There is a book there telling me something about smoke billows and something about clean air? Anyways, can somebody help me with this???? Please

You may get a hint if you change the way the overhead names are displayed. Press Esc and you will see Five circles at the top - click the middle one labelled Gameplay Options. Set this either to Non-Players. This will show names over items such as wooden chests and chimneys. There's a lot of smoke in the air, if you interact with the chimneys, they will stop spewing for the smoke, giving you cleaner air.
